Ashes of the Sun
Concept
The idea for this book germinated as the possibility of an unnaturally altered planet became more evident to me.  For many years how, writers and movie makers have given their view of how the world will look and how people will survive (or die) as a result of mankind’s unwise use of technology, warfare, plague, famine, etc.  Ashes of the Sun provides another insight into the future, but on a more personal level.  This book peeks into a very near future that I believe is tragically possible.  It may provide the reader with a new way of connecting problems like pollution and related health issues to their own lives, right now.
It is hoped that you may be aided in understanding what type of social upheavals and political concerns await mankind if our present course of wanton consumption and waste continues unchecked.
I invite the reader to enter the world of the mid twenty first century and see how things could be.  If you would like to preview the book  and write a blurb, contact the author.
About the Author
Most weekday mornings you will find E. B. Allred riding a bicycle to work. Amid the tranquility of a small Idaho town, he finds plenty of challenges and rewarding experiences teaching high school electronics. Residing only a few miles from the mountains and a few blocks from a dairy, his philosophy of living has found fertile soil.  Deep academic family roots and a curious, tinkering mind provided the springboard for Ashes of the Sun.
This happily married father of four and one-time aircraft electrician can tell a story that keeps you entertained while reminding the reader of interesting, even important issues.
Being an avid nature lover and user of modern technology, the author understands the relationship between productive use or abuse of our world. “Mankind’s use of technical knowledge can be both good and bad. Only through wise use of it can the human race prosper in the next century.  Our constant guide in exploration and invention should not be if the thing we endeavor to do can be done, but rather, if it is right to do it.”
